Better Ingredients.
Better Drink.

“No shortcuts. No artificial flavors. Just real ingredients, thoughtfully combined.”

At the heart of G&Tea is a simple idea: better, cleaner ingredients make a better drink. Every component is chosen with intention – not just for what it adds on its own, but for how it works together to create balance, depth, and a clean, refined finish.

We start with rooibos, a uniquely South African tea that brings natural richness and character. It’s paired with a classic London Dry gin, distilled for clarity and structure, providing brightness and backbone. Instead of relying on refined sugars or artificial alternatives, we use clover honey, adding a smooth, rounded sweetness that enhances rather than masks.

Each ingredient plays a distinct role. Together, they create something greater than the sum of their parts: a drink that feels naturally complete, and uncompromising in both quality and taste.

The Tea

A Tea Found
Nowhere Else

Rooibos is native exclusively to a small region of South Africa’s Western and Northern Cape. It grows only in the rugged Cederberg mountains, about 160 miles north of Cape Town, within the fynbos biome – making it one of the few ingredients in the world that cannot be replicated elsewhere.

Rooibos is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom, the smallest yet most botanically diverse floral kingdom on Earth. This UNESCO-recognized biodiversity hotspot contains thousands of plant species, many found nowhere else. Because rooibos depends on this fragile ecosystem, its cultivation is deeply tied to sustainable land use and biodiversity protection.

Our rooibos is processed in an FSSC 22000-certified facility under strict quality controls, preserving its natural character so that every sip tastes as if it were picked straight from the source. Rooibos is the first African product to receive EU Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status – placing it alongside Champagne – guaranteeing that only rooibos grown in its native South African region can carry the name.

When you’re sipping a G&Tea, you’re experiencing something that can’t be replicated anywhere else in the world. A tea rooted in the rugged mountains of South Africa, shaped by a unique ecosystem, and carried forward through generations of careful cultivation.

The Gin

The G in G&Tea

Our gin starts with a traditional London Dry foundation – distilled locally in the United States using time-honored methods and a precise selection of botanicals. London Dry Gin is defined by its process: all flavor comes from distillation, with no additives introduced after the final distillation. The result is a spirit led by juniper, supported by citrus, spice, and botanical depth.

All eight botanicals are first macerated in a high-proof grain neutral spirit, extracting essential oils and aromatics. The spirit is then redistilled in a copper pot still, refining and concentrating flavor while removing impurities for a cleaner, more rounded profile.

Juniper leads with a piney, resinous backbone, while coriander and cassia bring warmth and spice. Citrus peels – grapefruit and orange – add brightness without sweetness, and orris root and angelica seed provide floral and earthy structure. Bold yet precise, juniper-forward, layered with citrus and spice, finishing dry and clean.

When combined with rooibos, this gin provides structure and brightness, bringing lift to the tea’s depth and creating a balanced, refreshing finish that defines the G&Tea you are drinking.

The Sweetener

Sweetness, Elevated
by Nature

We chose honey not as a substitute, but as an upgrade. Where cane sugar delivers simple sweetness and artificial sweeteners try to imitate it and fail, honey brings depth, character, and a natural complexity that elevates the entire drinking experience. It’s a deliberate choice rooted in quality, not compromise.

Honey enhances both flavor and texture, adding a smooth, rounded mouthfeel while allowing the botanicals and rooibos to shine through. Its layered sweetness integrates seamlessly, creating a finish that feels complete rather than engineered.

Our clover honey brings a light golden hue and a refined, approachable sweetness. Its aroma is soft and floral, layered with subtle notes of fresh-cut grass and hay, and a gentle complexity that hints at warm spice and ripe fruit. Smooth in texture and clean on the finish.

In a G&Tea, it plays a precise role – rounding the brightness of citrus and lifting the earthy depth of rooibos, creating a finish that feels both smooth and refreshingly complete.

No, rooibos is naturally caffeine-free, so G&Tea contains no caffeine at all. It’s ideal for afternoons, evenings, and anyone avoiding stimulants.

Low tannins mean rooibos doesn’t have the dryness or bitterness that some teas can have. This creates a smoother, softer flavor profile in the drink.

Honey adds a natural, layered sweetness that integrates with the botanicals and rooibos in a way refined sugar simply cannot. It adds texture, depth and a clean finish rather than a flat sweetness, and it’s a more natural, less processed choice.
